children’s SuMMER Day Camp in Calgary
This summer we have an opportunity to help the children of our parish grow in knowledge and virtue. The priests are organizing a 6-day camp for boys and a 5-day camp for girls. We will need adult volunteers to make this possible. Please use the form below.
Our plan is to use our school building as a base camp. Children, ages 8 - 15, will meet at the school building each morning and go home in the afternoon—with the exception detailed below for the boys’ camp. We will use the classrooms and the field for catechism and games. A priest will offer Mass for the children each day. One day we will make a trip to the mountains. Other events will depend on the skills of our volunteers. The camp will be open to the children of parishioners and is especially recommended for children who are less involved with other events at the Church. This will be a good opportunity for children to make Catholic friends, learn more about their faith, and practice virtue. Please help us to make this event a success.
